HOW TO ENTER EMPLOYEE HOLIDAYS/SICK LEAVE INTO ManStat
1. From ManStat front page drop down the MAIN FUNCTIONS menu and choose CONTACT MAINTENANCE and use the boxes to find the employee you are after.
2. Double click on the employee to enter their record.
3. Choose the CALENDAR tab, highlight the dates you need to cover and click on the ADD button
· For Annual Leave choose "Approved Leave" (As long as you have a signed/approved leave form in front of you)
· For Sick Leave choose "requested sick leave" if they call in sick and you have not got a leave form or medical certificate. Choose "Approved sick leave" if you have a leave form or medical certificate.
· For Work cover choose "Work cover"
· For leave that does not require a confirmation or one day unpaid leave use "unavailable at employee's request"
4. You will not be able to press the ok button until you write a reason in the box.
a. Write an appropriate reason and then click ok.
b. Then ok out of the contact to save
i. if you don't press ok twice the holiday record will not save.
HOW TO PRINT LEAVE APPLICATION CONFIRMATIONS FROM ManStat
1. From ManStat front page press the report button at the top of the page.
2. Open STAFF
3. Double click on "Leave Application Confirmations"- This will only cover annual leave, not sick leave.
4. Enter a date range that will cover all employees you want to print and press ok
5. This report will show everyone who has approved or applied holidays during this period, whether you have already printed them or not.
6. Use the arrows at the top of the page to change pages and print each employee that you need separately using the printer icon at the top of the page.
