Roster Status

The Employment Status tab has a Roster Status section that affects rostering but is not to be used for payroll functions

Chapter 3.7

Inactive Employees - used for employees who are non-rostered or employees on extended leave with an unknown return date.

***Note: It is imperative employees are terminated correctly as per the next section and not made inactive when they leave or this will cause processing delays in rostering.

Suspended  - used for no more than a week and disallows staff for rostering.

Pending termination - is a rostering only function. Once the date is reached the employee will not show for rostering.

Lock to Minimum Hours (of the award) - useful for staff on visa or allowances where they are required to only work part weeks.
