ManStat is a modern, sophisticated database application. As such, it employs many of the latest database structures and application architectures. The complexity of these modern techniques is hidden from the user due to the fact that ManStat is generally installed and set up by trained professionals.
Although many of the installation and setup stages required for implementing a ManStat system have been automated by the ManStat installation applications, the processes described here will allow an experienced IT person to manually implement or diagnose each of these separate stages. This section of the documentation has been included for the sake of IT personnel who may be charged with the installation or support of ManStat, without having received training on these processes by Reanimotion.
ManStat is a multi-tier application which employs ODBC and Microsoft SQL Server for its data access. This form of implementation requires six distinct application and data access levels.

All of the installation and setup stages required for implementing a ManStat system have been automated by the ManStat installation applications. However, a process is described here which will allow an experienced IT person to manually implement or diagnose problems with each of these separate stages. Each part of the architecture should be set up in the order displayed in the architecture diagram illustrated above.
