Locked for Payroll

If you lock an employee to an award, this will override the default award selected in the client contact.  Select employee in the Contact Maintenance screen and choose Payroll tab.  Here you will notice that there is a drop down menu with all the available awards. Select the award you would like to lock the employee to and click on the tick box Lock to Award.  This will now only pay this employee from this award.

Chapter 10.12

If the employee is locked to an award and there is another award that may need to be used, this can be allowed by double clicking in allowed awards. A tick beside the award specifies this award is allowed to be triggered. This is useful for shift allowances.
