Numerical Value EG 2 = Pay first 2 hours at rate B (OT1) and pay remaining NIGHTTNORMHOURS at normal rate

NIGHTOTHOURS

decimal (18, 2)

How many hours at the first overtime rate (OT1) before the second overtime rate (OT2) starts?

NIGHT1800RATES

int

What rates are you paying your employees before and after Fridays 1800,  Saturdays and Sundays?

Setting of 1 can be applied  -

If the shift begins after 18:00 on Fridays then Saturday rates can be billed/paid for the entire shift

If the shift begins on Sunday and goes into Monday morning then Sunday rates can be billed/paid for the entire shift

If the shift begins after 00:00 on Mondays then Sunday rates can be paid/billed before 06:00

If the shift begins on Saturday and goes into Sunday morning then Saturday rates can be billed/paid for the entire shift

If the shift begins after 00:00 on Mondays then Sunday rates can be paid/billed before 06:00

Setting of 2 can be applied

If the shift begins before 18:00 on Fridays then Saturday rates can be paid/billed after 18:00

If the shift begins after 18:00 on Sundays then Night rates can be billed/paid for the entire shift

If the shift begins before 06:00 on Saturdays then Night rates can be paid before 06:00

Setting of 3 can be applied: ( 13 is now preferred )

If the shift begins after 18:00 on Fridays then Night rates can be billed/paid for the entire shift

Setting of 4 can be applied:

If the shift begins after 18:00 on Fridays then Saturday rates can be paid only after 00:00

Setting of 5 can be applied:

If the shift begins on Saturday then WeekDay rates can be billed/paid for the entire shift

Setting of 6 can be applied:

If the shift begins on Saturday then did they cross over into true OT but the hard 2 hours @ 1.5 rule is in place

Setting of 7 can be applied:

If the shift ends on Weeknights (Monday to Friday) then billing will shift all OT to Sunday Rate

Setting of 10 can be applied:

If the shift begins before day start on Weekdays (Monday to Friday) then billing/payroll can exclude Night rates from Ordinary/OT calculations for the entire shift - basically ordinary time begins at 06:00 and ATnonCore rate will apply for the portion before day start

Setting of 13 can be applied:

If the shift begins after 18:00 on Fridays then Night rates can be billed/paid for the entire shift - same as 3 but will aggregate any daytime component into night rate

Setting of 20 can be applied:

If the shift begins on Weekdays (Monday to Friday) then billing/payroll can split Night rates from Ordinary/OT calculations for the entire shift - basically the Day portion is calculated separately from Night meaning two possible active Ordinary/OT components using a hard cut at nStart and nFinish

MAJORITYRATESOFPAY

int

Can be used to pay an employee majority rate of pay.

For example, if an employee started work at 0530 (ord. hrs start time 0600) and worked 7.5 hours, pay all at normal rates instead of 7 hrs normal and 0.5 at the first overitme rate (OT1)

Setting of 1 = straight majority rates of pay but allow OT

Setting of 2 = majority rate of pay but replace OT1 with OT2 if we apply a night majority

Setting of 3 = majority rate of pay for AWU NSW Day/Night worker if Day then Pay Night as OT, if Night then Pay Day as OT

Setting of 4 = majority rate of pay for Night into Day ONLY

Setting of -2 = normal afternoon shifts extending into night, OT paid at double time instead of day conditions
