Before you can record issues in the ManStat database, you must establish one or more products to record the issues against. Reanimotion establishes product entries not only for each of its development projects, but also for other items such as its website development, training programs, major installations etc. In fact, any type of project can be established as a product and managed via the ManStat system.
To add a new product, select Setup, Product, Product Maintenance and press the Add button.
You will be prompted for a product code and type. The product code must be unique within the ManStat database.
You will see that there are a large number of tabs and fields available in this window. The vast majority of these are used by ManStat's order entry and fulfillment systems which are not available within this version of ManStat.
