Compliance with real time rostering has been improved with the removal of the ability to roster in arrears if award conditions are set accordingly.
Consideration has also been made to reinstate the staff call in process and maximum overtime for two reasons. Firstly Front line staff are being left on site for extended periods of time without being relieved as needed. Second, the practice of rostering in arrears is bypassing the safeguards within ManStat.
Rostering also checks the status of critical licences of staff during the job allocation process – any licence type can be tracked by entering -1 in the value field in licence type lookup maintenance. Rostering by employee or job will give 30 days warning on pending expiries and completely stop allocation for affected staff on actual expiry.
