This page contains information for information technology departments, who need to gather technical information before a business commits to purchasing the ManStat software package.

Product purpose:

ManStat is a software program for Work Force Management, integrating HR, CRM, rostering, billing and payroll functions.

 

Software construction:

The product is constructed in Microsoft SQL Server and CA Visual Objects, Crystal Reports 10 is used for producing reports where required.

ManStat includes a long list of standard reports. ManStat's reporting is based on the popular Crystal Reports report writer, thus allowing customers to modify existing templates or develop their own reports themselves.

 

Software type:

Client-Server Win32 application – intended to be run across a network

 

Minimum system requirements:

 

Work Station

 • Intel Core2 Duo 1.8

 • 2GB RAM

 • 200Mb free hard disk space

  • Display device of 1024x768 or better

 • XP Pro or Vista Business

 • 100Mbit network connection

 

Server

Stand alone physical server required for more than 5 users

 • Dual Intel Xeon 2.8

 • 4GB RAM

 • 4GB free hard disk space

u320 SCSI RAID1 array

 • Windows Server 2008R2

 • Microsoft SQL Server 2012

 • 1Gbit network connection

 

Installation issues:

 • Requires Administrator privileges to install

users will normally require write permission on local C:\Manstat folder for updates

 • Requires access to network share for central reports repository

64bit Server has ODBC32 configuration hidden in SysWOW64 folder

 

Networking:

The system is intended to be executed across a Windows server network as a published app.  Remote Desktop / Terminal server installations are recommended.  Citrix installations are also normally acceptable but may have issues depending on version and service packs applied.
